Tsunami DQ is one of our key products, formulated to control many types of aquatic growth such as duckweed, water hyacinth, pondweeds and coontail. It is safe for use around people, pets, wildlife, swimming, irrigation and potable water. For best results, it should be applied in sections, with repeat applications within two weeks of the initial treatment.

When using Tsunami DQ, it is important to treat the pond weeds when they are actively growing, and water temperatures are above 60°F. The product is a contact herbicide, so it is best applied by spraying directly over the target growth. The recommended dosage is 2-8 quarts per surface acre, depending on the severity of the infestation and the type of weed.

Tsunami DQ is safe to use with fish, but it is important to treat the pond in sections to avoid rapid oxygen depletion. The product should be reapplied every 14 days, with only a 1/2 or 1/3 of the pond treated at a time to allow the water to recover.
